The Counsel of Forgiveness (verses 8-10)

We have not been pardoned to follow our lusts, but to increase holiness. So why do we persist in surrendering to the desires of our bodies? The answer to our problem is not silence and the solution is not rationalization. Forgiveness is both the answer and the solution. God will teach and forgive us.
Instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. Forgive us, Lord, for behaving as animals. May we yield to your direction. Counsel us. Thank You for surrounding us with Your unfailing love.
The Joy of Forgiveness (verse 11)

When we trust in God we have reason for joy. Having been blessed with forgiveness we only respond with gladness.
Lord, we rejoice in You. With gladness we sing praises to You. Praise You!
My sin—O, the bliss of this glorious thought,
My sin—not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
